Osuofia, a poor hunter from rural Nigeria who inherited the vast estate of his deceased brother who had left the village many years ago. Osuofia travels to London to claim his inheritance and returns back to Nigeria with his dead brothers fiancé, who is actually trying to part Osuofia with his inherited money by pretending to be interested in him romantically.
Osuofia never has to curtail his imposition of his culture and judgements, he never has to change and in the end , he is the one with the money.
